Pushing Forward...




I did not have a successful week. I did not run all week until today. I have no idea and no excuses why I didn't get my butt out the door and run.. just wasn't feelin' it.  But so it goes..

I did reluctantly get out the door this morning and run/walk 2.5 miles.  It wasn't easy getting myself to go but I did and that's something.

As for the eating  I get a big FAT F.  I ate everything I wanted to at night.. during the day I followed my points but at night I just let it all go.. probably had something to do with the copious amount of wine that I drank.

So here I am at the start of a new week.. planning on being strong and knowing that I will.

Take the Good with the Bad Girl.


Without getting ahead of myself I just want to say I feel like a Million Bucks.  That's what a great run will do for me!  I got up at 5:15, moved my tush out the door by 6AM and met the Pacemakers for a 7 AM run in Baltimore.  Thankfully my old running pal Eileen was there and not only did she run the whole way with me and my slow pace BUT I RAN with her.  Still some stops to walk but overall I ran for most of the whole 7.5 miles.

As far as my WW went for the week.. not bad.. not great.. I followed my points for the most part.If you are familiar with WW you know that you earn activity points for whatever exercise you do during the week and you can choose to eat those points or not.. I of course eat them and drink them. But my goal this week is to only use up half of the activity points I earn. Okay truth be told... yesterday I drank a gin & tonic, a dirty martini, and a margarita.. ate Mexican food (didn't scimp) and had Little Debbie Swiss rolls for desert.. I AM A BAD GIRL!!!  But today starts a new week and I'm off to a good start...

Oy.. I'm back.. it's been awhile..

Today I ran/walked 4.6 miles. I don't seem to be able to run the whole distance. Not yet anyway.. It may have something to do with my size.. just sayin..

I haven't run seriously since the end of 2012.. Why not .. you ask?  I dunno.. just stopped. Completed the Dewey beach Triathlon and just stopped. Weird.

But now I have rejoined the Pacemakers (my favorite running group in Bmore) and I get up on Saturday mornings and run behind them.. literally. The last two Saturdays I stumbled out 7 miles, running and walking but finished.
